There is a psychological term called Parasocial Relationship. Parasocial Relationships in Indonesian are often known as halu or kehaluan. Perception of public says that Parasocial Relationships makes them be toxic, but experts say, it doesn’t. Besides it count as addicted and attached to a celebrity, idol, or even character, Parasocial Relationship offer sense of companionship and can expand social networks.
